What does it mean to have an unfilled/incorrectly filled Memo/Tag on a deposit?
A Memo or Tag is an additional address feature required to identify the recipient of a transaction outside of the wallet address. For certain cryptocurrencies such as XLM, XRP, ATOM, EOS, TON, etc., it is necessary to input the corresponding Memo/Tag information in order to effectively carry out the transfer.
At BXTEN, for cryptos that require filling in a deposit Memo/Tag, all accounts share the same deposit wallet address, such as XRP, TON, etc. Therefore, traders must input the correct deposit tag to ensure their assets are successfully deposited.
What should I do?
If you have made a transfer but forgot or incorrectly filled in the Memo/Tag/identifier, you can retrieve the assets by filling out the Uncredited Deposit Return Application. Please provide the following information:
Small deposit: Please complete a deposit with the correct Memo.
Withdrawal record video: Please record the transfer details of the deposit.
Photo identification: Please provide a photo of yourself holding your ID document along with a written explanation.
Additional Information on Required Documents:
Here are the detailed explanations for the materials you need to provide in order to help you accurately gather the required information.
Transaction Hash (TxID):
Copy and paste the complete transaction hash (TxID) of the transaction where the Memo/Tag was unfilled or filled incorrectly. You can find this information on the withdrawal platform.
Small Amount Deposit Transaction Hash (TxID):
You need to send a transfer from the same address with the correct Memo/Tag and then copy and paste the complete transaction hash (TxID) of the small amount deposit. You can find this information on the withdrawal platform.
Account UID
You can find your User ID under the [user icon].
Withdrawal Records Screenshot:
Take a screenshot of the withdrawal records from the source of the deposit. Please log in to your withdrawal platform, search for your withdrawal history, and find the corresponding withdrawal record. Please note that the screenshot should clearly display the complete hash value, address, crypto, and amount.
Withdrawal Records Video Evidence:
Assuming you transferred funds from Exchange A to BXTEN before, we request a clear screen recording video that includes the following:
Successful login to Exchange A (To protect your personal information, you can enter your username and password before starting the screen recording and press the login button after starting the recording).
Navigating to the withdrawal history page on Exchange A.
Clearly showing the transfer details of the deposit to BXTEN. The details should include the amount, crypto, transfer date and time, and the complete TxID (transaction hash).
If the withdrawal history page of Exchange A does not show the complete TxID but provides a link to the blockchain, please click on the link and display the information on the blockchain.
Photo Identification:
You need to take a photo of yourself holding your identification document and a white piece of paper. The white paper should have the following information: BXTEN + "Application for Recovery of Unfilled/Incorrectly Filled Memo/Tag Deposit" + the current date.
Terms and Conditions:
BXTEN will make every effort to assist you in recovering your assets, but due to the complexity of the blockchain network, BXTEN cannot guarantee the recovery of 100% of the assets in all cases.
If BXTEN is unable to recover the assets, unsupported cryptocurrencies deposited by the trader will result in permanent losses.
Due to the manual verification and other associated processes, it may take 1-3 business days for the funds to be credited. Cases where assets were deposited into the wrong account due to an incorrect tag may require a longer processing time.
